The Health Promotion Board of Singapore has appointed a Publicis Groupe-led consortium that also includes Pico for integrated marketing. The news follows a competitive pitch in which the client was looking for a strategic brand lead, creative production and experiential marketing services.

Publicis Groupe will be responsible for conceptualising, planning and implementing all integrated marketing and communication campaigns for HPB’s health initiatives, the agency said.

A bespoke team led by Joanne Theseira, MD, will deliver the work, bringing together talent from Publicis Worldwide, Digitas, Prodigious and MSL, as well as working with teams from Pico under a strategic partnership.

A who's who of agencies was involved in the pitch after it was called in August, according to the government's GEBiz website, including DDB, Grey, Havas, J Walter Thompson, Ogilvy, Publicis, and TBWA. R3 managed the pitch.

Prior to this, Publicis and Tribal Worldwide were on retainer with HPB, with Publicis having first won a significant part of the business in 2015.

Publicis Groupe also just announced a win with Ohmyhome, a property technology platform in Singapore.
