Havas Group has hired Agus Sudradjat as chairman for Indonesia while promoting Anwesh Bose to CEO.

Sudradjat joins from Grey Group, where he spent 17 years, the last nine as chairman and CEO. Prior to this, he worked at MediaCom and Dentsu Indonesia. He will lead Havas Indonesia’s strategic vision as part of its ‘Together’ strategy.

“I am pleased to be a part of Havas’ futuristic model and look forward to working closely with the Indonesian team to take this proposition forward,” he said.

Under the new structure, Bose, who is currently CEO of Havas Media Indonesia, will become CEO of Havas Group Indonesia, responsible for running both Havas and Havas Media, as well as the group’s other brands. Bose joined the company in 2014 as Indonesia managing director.

Vishnu Mohan, CEO of Havas Group Southeast Asia, said Bose’s promotion is “well deserved” and that Sudradjat’s local market experience “makes him an ideal choice to lead our integrated Indonesian operations”.
