Gudang Garam appoints Chosen

JAKARTA - Gudang Garam, one of Indonesia's largest kretek (clove cigarette) manufacturers, has picked Chosen Marketing Communications to handle creative duties for its Surya 12 brand.

The appointment follows a competitive pitch that also included Publicis and local agencies Advantage, Avicom and The Red Mantra.

“The addition of Surya 12 to our brand portfolio is a milestone for us and we are thrilled with the opportunity to service this client,” commented Celina Guimaraes, Chosen’s business director, in a statement.

Gudang Garam holds around 25 per cent of the domestic market.
