Jin was appointed president of GroupM Trading China in September 2008. With more than 20 years' experience in the media industry, he has achieved great success in television, print and radio. Prior to his current role at GroupM, he was general manager of Dentsu in Shanghai.

“Wanjun’s strong leadership and excellent media trading experience have contributed greatly to the group’s excellent media vendor relations management and enhanced ability to optimise trading opportunities for our clients’ benefit, “ said Bessie Lee, CEO, GroupM China.

Meanwhile Jin’s current president’s role in GroupM Trading will be broken down and shared by two senior leaders, Tony Chen and Andrew Carter.

Chen, currently managing director of GroupM Interaction, will be appointed president of media management. He will oversee trading across all media, and will continue to manage GroupM Interaction as president.

Carter, currently national head of tactical planning, will be promoted to president, investment management, and will be responsible for the group’s tactial strategy across all media.

“With the above senior appointments and roles in place, I believe our trading capability will be greatly strengthened and equipped to effectively drive the integration of all media channels under one unit," Lee said.
