Peter Diermayr appointed managing partner, client services for IBM Growth Markets at Mindshare

Current managing director of Mindshare Peter Diermayr will move to the position of managing partner, client leadership, IBM Growth markets within the agency, while Leela Nair currently director of trading and talent at GroupM succeeds him. The appointments are effective in early May.

Toby Hayward, CEO of GroupM Singapore noted: "This is a wonderful opportunity for Peter to get to grips with one of Mindshare's largest global clients. The brief extends beyond Asia and Peter will be responsible for the development of IBM's business in the key growth markets."

Hayward added that Nair has demonstrated what it takes to step up to the role vacated by Diermayr. "In Leela's relatively short time with the company, she has revitalised our trading credentials and successfully led the development and launch of Media Masters, our in-house media training programme. That, and her extensive previous experience, makes her an ideal person for the role."
