Geometry Global Hong Kong has a new managing director and client service director following the apppointment of Anne Vanlaeys and ChowPo Kong to these two roles, respectively.

Vanlaeys steps up to lead the Hong Kong office from her former position as global brand director, also based in Hong Kong. She was the former managing director of the French office when she joined the agency in 2013, the year that WPP launched the agency, before moving to Hong Kong in September last year.

Meanwhile, ChowPo Kong is promoted to her current role from business director. She had previously worked with Ogilvy, DDB Hong Kong and Dentsu Hong Kong, serving clients from consumer, finance, retail and transportation brands such as Unilever, Prudential and Sky Connection.

Speaking on her appointment, Vanlaeys said: " Geometry Global is truly a global network and Hong Kong obviously plays a critical role in it. I am thrilled to be part of such a creative and dynamic team."

Kong said her promotion does not guarantee success, as opposed to pioneership, mentorship and leadership. "In our industry, we sell creativity and ideas every day, but these are not as important as our people. Hence, I will continue to devote my time to growing young talent," said Kong.

Diana Cawley, CEO, Geometry Global Asia Pacific, said, “For both, the new structure is a well-deserved recognition. Hong Kong is an important organisation to us, with its diverse client portfolio and robust growth."
