Former SCMP Magazine GM Angela Ng joins Initiative as China CEO

SHANGHAI - Former GM of SCMP Magazine Angela Ng has stepped up as the new CEO of Initiative China based in Shanghai. She will be charged with leading the development of Initiative’s offering, both in traditional and digital communications and brand building.

Ng (pictured) was most recently general manager at SCMP Magazine where she managed the operation of In Style China for over a year. Her resume also includes MD of Beijing and Shanghai at Starcom Media plus stints with Mediawise, part of Omnicon Group, and McCann-Erickson.

"Angela is an entrepreneurial CEO with substantial industry experience, and has an impressive track record in managing and developing media businesses in Asia, and is ideally placed to take Initiative China to the next stage in its development," said Eric Bader, chief strategy officer, Initiative Worldwide.
