The agency is tasked with brand positioning for Bohi's main cooking oil brand Gourmet Expert, and brand architecture across Bohi's range of cooking oil brands, as well as communications strategy, creative campaigns and package designs for Gourmet Expert's national launch.

Shandong Bohi is a top 500 manufacturer in China, and focused on cereal and oil processing and vegetable fibre manufacturing.

The announcement comes at a time of expansion for Bohi, which is looking to break into the top three cooking oil consumer brands in the Chinese market over the next three years.

Edward Su, managing director of Euro RSCG Shanghai, said "partnering with growing Chinese brands is always an exciting challenge."

"Bohi has consistently innovated over its 15 year history to become a leading domestic brand, and this spirit of innovation will stand it in good stead as it partners with us to move into the next stage of its evolution," he said.

This year, Euro RSCG has won many local clients, including Balabala and Sanquan in Shanghai, and Dong E E Jiao and Vicutu in Beijing.

"The considerable momentum in new business growth across our China operations is a testament to the strength of the agency's integrated offering and deep understanding of the Chinese market," said Mason Lin, the agency's Greater China CEO.
