Euro RSCG makes management appointments

SINGAPORE - Euro RSCG Asia Pacific has appointed Renuka Jaypal to the newly created position of CEO, Southeast Asia and Victor Ng to the role of chief creative officer, Southeast Asia, effective 1 March.

Jaypal joins Euro RSCG from Ogilvy & Mather, whereby she spent the past 12 years in various roles, including managing director of OgilvyOne India and more recently Group CEO of Ogilvy & Mather Indonesia. With more than 20 years of experience in the industry, her account portfolio includes IBM, Cadbury, Vodafone, Unilever and Coca Cola. She will be based in Singapore.

For Ng, he was most recently the executive creative director for DDB Shanghai and he has judged at Cannes, D&AD, Clios, London International Awards, Spikes Asia, Adfest and Singapore Creative Circle Awards. The new role will see him being tasked with overseeing and shaping Euro RSCG’s creative direction across Southeast Asia.

Juan Rocamora, chairman of Euro RSCG Asia-Pacific, noted that Southeast Asia is a region brimming with talent and opportunity, and with an enormous potential for creativity and synergies across the region.

“Renuka and Victor are an extraordinary team, with a wealth of multi country experience, that bring a great deal of drive and passion to lead Euro RSCG to new heights. I am delighted to be able to work with them in this exciting new stage.”

On the appointments, Matthew Fanshawe, MD of Euro RSCG Asia-Pacific, commented, “Renuka is a great talent and we are very excited to have her on board. She is the right person to lead the integrated operations of Euro RSCG across Southeast Asia and help us capitalize on the very clear growth opportunities.”

The new appointments do not impact Andrew Crombie, who will continue to oversee key client and new business roles in Singapore and Malaysia.
