Coca-Cola China calls pitch for Minute Maid Pulpy

SHANGHAI - The Coca-Cola Company has started a creative pitch for Minute Maid Pulpy, which rivals the parent brand in terms of sales volume in China.

Coca-Cola China calls pitch for Minute Maid Pulpy

Saatchi & Saatchi Shanghai is the incumbent AOR in charge of above-the-line creative. Its appointment in November 2012 came after a two-month pitch process. Prior to that, BBH China was in the Minute Maid Pulpy roster.

According to industry sources, the brand is now scouting for agencies to participate in the pitch. Revenue for the next agency to nab the account is estimated at RMB10 million (US$1.56 million) per year.

Saatchi and Saatchi said it had no comment about the impending pitch when approached by Campaign Asia-Pacific.
