According to the agencies, the promotions were put in place following key wins earlier this year.

In March, United Overseas Bank shifted its creative account from Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore to Leo Burnett.

A month earlier, dairy brand FrieslandCampina awarded Leo Burnett with its branding business across the Southeast Asian region, and in April, Singapore’s Ministry of Defence appointed Arc Worldwide to revamp its Army portal.

Chiu has been with Leo Burnett for 10 years, holding the posts of ECD at the Jakarta, Bangkok and Singapore offices. He has worked with brands including McDonald’s, Samsung and P&G and has been on awards juries at Cannes, the London International Advertising Awards and the New York Festivals.

An industry veteran of over 40 years, Kyriakou has worked in Australia, London, Singapore and Toronto. Specifically, he worked at JWT in Melbourne, Sydney, Singapore and Toronto for 22 years, rising to the roles of executive creative director and chairman.

Kyriakou, who also taught copywriting at the Ontario College of Art & Design, returned to Singapore in 2007 as Saatchi & Saatchi’s regional creative and managing partner.

They will work closely with Tan Kien Eng (centre), CEO of Leo Burnett and Arc Worldwide Malaysia and Singapore.
