Chemmart appoints JWT Melbourne to creative business in Australia

MELBOURNE - JWT Melbourne has been appointed by pharmacy retailer Chemmart after a five-way pitch.

The pitch is said to have involved Leo Burnett, The Foundry, Fuel and incumbent The Faith Agency. Chemmart is headquartered in Melbourne with 220 stores in Australia. The pharmacy is looking at revamping the brand in 2010.

“Winning Chemmart, retaining Kellogg's and being awarded Smirnoff for Asia-Pacific is a nice way to finish off a strong year,” said Noel Magnus, JWT's Australasian CEO.

JWT Sydney was awarded Smirnoff's business for Asia-Pacific last week.
