KUALA LUMPUR - FMCG Dutch Lady is tipped to have moved its regional media account to Carat.

Carat tipped to win Dutch Lady regional media pitch

The appointment will see Royal FrieslandCampina consolidate its regional media duties, according to sources. Mindshare is the incumbent for Thailand and Vietnam, UM in Malaysia and Carat in The Philippines. It is not known when Royal FrieslandCampina called the regional media pitch.

A spokesperson for FrieslandCampina said the company has yet to come to a final decision.

Universal McCann was appointed in December 2008 for Dutch Lady's US$5-million media account, after a four-way pitch that included MEC, Starcom and incumbent ZenithOptimedia.

The global milk brand is called Dutch Lady in Malaysia and Vietnam, Foremost in Thailand and Frisian Flag in Indonesia.

Earlier this week, the brand moved its creative business in Southeast Asia from Leo Burnett to BBH Asia Pacific.
