The company plans to launch in Thailand next January, where it will offer BBC Knowledge, BBC Entertainment, BBC Lifestyle and CBeebies. This move would come after the launch of BBC Knowledge, BBC Lifestyle and BBC Entertainment on Chung Hwa Telecom’s IPTV platform, MOD network, in Taiwan at the end of this month.

In Indonesia, BBC Lifestyle is now available on NexMedia. The existing portfolio in Indonesia, namely BBC Knowledge and CBeebies, currently rank ahead of all competitors in the market.

In addition to the new launches, the BBC is also broadening the content to Asian viewers of BBC Knowledge with the Lonely Planet series airing Free Rein, an original commission for BBC Knowledge from Lonely Planet’s production arm, would premiere next month. Top Gear will also be available when Season 18 begins airing next year.
