Ann Chan leaves Starcom Guangzhou for career break

GUANGZHOU - Ann Chan, GM of Starcom Guangzhou, is leaving the agency at the end of August after eight years of service, and her job will be taken up by deputy GM Ellen To.

A source close to the news said Chan will return to her home city of Hong Kong for a break before considering other career opportunities.

Chan joined Starcom Guangzhou initially as strategic planning director with key clients being including Mead Johnson, Pharma 999, San Miguel and China Resource - C'estbon Water. 

Before Starcom, she worked for Motivator in Shanghai, which is now Havas Media.

As reported on 6 August, Lester Ng, MD of Starcom Beijing, has returned to ZenithOptimedia to take up the role of deputy MD at its Shanghai office.
