Singapore agency joins publicly listed network as part of expansion ambitions.

Addiction Advertising joins The Marketing Group

SINGAPORE - Homegrown advertising agency Addiction Advertising has joined The Marketing Group, a digital marketing and advertising agglomeration, as part of its expansion strategy.

In a statement, Lionel Lim, Addiction Advertising MD, said the strategic partnership provides scale and access to a suite of complementary marketing services that will enable the company to operate more cost-efficiently and grow its business through partnership and collaboration.

“Importantly the agglomeration model allows us to retain our independence while providing liquidity and the opportunity to benefit from the advantages of being part of a global digital company,” he added.

As part of The Marketing Group, Addiction Advertising joins a network of 19 businesses, with 32 offices in eight countries, serving clients in the US, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

The group was incorporated in May 2015 and listed on Nasdaq First North Stockholm on 8 June 2016.

Jeremy Harbour, executive chairman of The Marketing Group, said the Addiction team will be helping guide the growth and direction of The Marketing Group in Singapore and the region.
