Terrifying Thai video reminds that 'speed blinds'

Health Promotion Foundation and BBDO Bangkok warn motorcycle drivers about tunnel vision.

The video above makes a strong case that excessive speed reduces your ability to spot anything that's not directly in front of you—a particular risk for motorcycle drivers, who operate on a razor-thin margin for error in any case.

The ‘Speed blinds you’ campaign scored 5 million views and 40,000 shares on social media in three days after launch, as well as mainstream media coverage, according to the agency.

BBDO has done a lot of interesting work about speeding and vehicle safety:

Rather than risk getting pancaked by a speeding death machine driven by a human, Ad Nut only crosses roads via tree branches and electrical wires.
