Leo Burnett Manila's 'Waterworld' kicks off Philippine Advertising Congress

THE PHILIPPINES - Leo Burnett Manila kicked off the Philippine Advertising Congress season with the launch of a new TVC and print ad.

The 'Waterworld' TVC depicts the game-changing story of host province Camarines Sur, which has emerged from being the Philippines' 39th poorest province in 2004 to become the top tourist destination in the country since 2009.

Leo Burnett Manila's campaign showcases Camarines Sur's vibrant beach life and how it synergises with this year's Philippine Advertising Congress' theme 'The game-changing generation'.

Leo Burnett Manila won the creative duties for the Philippine Advertising Congress in April after a competitive pitch, beating out Campaigns & Grey, DDB Philippines, Denstu Philippines, Publicis JimenezBasic, JRomero and Associates and JWT Manila.

The Philippine Advertising Congress will be held from 16 to 19 November 2011.
