Ice Paris stars in a funeral story for Nivea

The Thai singer/actor uses the brand's Deep Rapid Acne Wash to murder anthropomorphic pimples in a spot by Publicis One Touch.

A TVC opening with a funeral scene—even a cartoonish one—would be unthinkable in many markets these days. But Thailand has done a particularly good job handling the pandemic. So the existence of the above ad for Beiersdorf's Nivea further proves the absolute stupidity of governments that saw 'pandemic control' and 'a healthy economy' as mutually exclusive things.

If you do what you need to do to control the spread of the disease, you get to have all kinds of healthy economic activity—including singer/actor Ice Paris Intarakomalyasut permitting a skincare brand to blemish his oh-so perfect face with animated pimples in order to sell an unction called Deep Rapid Acne Wash (with Himalayan rock salt).

This is a pretty brave choice for a handsome young actor, Ad Nut submits

If you fail to control the pandemic...well, look no further than the death and economic devastation currently being visited upon the United States by its inept leaders.

Anyway, it's a nice ad. Good job, people! Ad Nut is sorry for turning this into a political commentary.
