Even if Wall's could speak, it has no luck with a parakeet

DDB Singapore's new campaign for Wall's Feast in Indonesia and Wall's Top Ten in Thailand also involved Adam&eveDDB in London and Paris-based animation house Wizz.

Wall's talking ice cream is back, with its chirpy self trying to be friendly with a parakeet in a park. Unfortunately, the encounter takes a turn toward a different kind of park—the Jurassic kind. Ad Nut has always shuddered at such awkward friendship attempts, and can understand why humans prefer to text instead.

With the exception of the talkative congregation of inanimate food items in Sausage Party, Ad Nut feels that there are precious few speaking foods that manage to come alive on film. Many of them simply lack the facial organs needed to express themselves (unlike certain charismatic woodland creatures).

That said, a very short video length may help to sustain interest, and a mouth-watering slow-mo shot of the ice-cream treat's nutty coating saves this particular clip.

Ad Nut wishes the talking ice cream better luck next time.
