ZenithOptimedia names Greater China CEO

SHANGHAI - More than a year after its former Greater China CEO Steven Chang left, ZenithOptimedia has promoted Mykim Chikli, previously China CEO, to Greater China CEO, while naming SiewPing Lim to take over Chikli's role.

Chikli takes on the CEO role immediately. Former Greater China leader Steven Chang quit more than one year ago before he headed to Tencent to be its corporate vice president in charge of online media advertising sales.

In addition to increased geographical responsibilities, Chikli will also build the Performics and Newcast businesses across Greater China and assume regional client leadership for the LVMH account.

Reporting to Chikli will now be:

Lim's position will remain vacant until the agency finds a replacement. Her counterpart, Mathias Chaillou, remains as managing director of Optimedia China.

Commenting on Chikli's promotion, Gerry Boyle, APAC chairman of ZenithOptimedia, said, “Mykim has done a brilliant job in China since her arrival four years ago, and across that time, has led our business in China to huge growth in revenue, reputation and talent".
