Y&R Jakarta appoints business director on Danone account

JAKARTA - Y&R Jakarta today announced the appointment of Arina Suhirman as business director on its Danone account, in particular its Aqua brand. The appointment is effective immediately.

Suhirman has over 10 years' experience in the industry and joins Y&R Jakarta after previous stints in several Jakarta-based agencies such as Blackpencil (now ArcAlpha245), PSI Indonesia and Low Link.

Throughout her career, she has managed a spectrum of local and regional accounts including Indofood Group, Nestle brands, UOB, Arnotts Clear Shampoo (Unilever), and Sampoerna Hijau (Indonesian cigarette brand acquired by Phillip Morris).

Aqua is a leading bottled water brand in Indonesia, and a product under French food products company Danone Group

"Arina comes to Y&R with a wealth of sector knowledge and experience which will be a very strong asset for the agency," said Andrew Dowling, CEO of Y&R Jakarta.
