Y&R Jakarta appoints Andrew Dowling as CEO

JAKARTA - Andrew Dowling is returning to Y&R after a two-year stint at Iris Worldwide, leading the APAC accounts for Adidas, Unilever, Yahoo, Red Bull and global Diageo relationships from his base in Singapore.

PrIor to that, at Y&R Singapore and Australia, Dowling’s experience includes integrated roles on a number of regional and global brands, including Ford, Honda, Panasonic, Singtel, Optus, Foxtel, Tabcorp, Avis, H&R Block and the Australian Rugby Union.
 
Matthew Godfrey, president, Y&R Asia said, “Andrew brings with him a wealth of experience across a number of industry sectors. We’re delighted to have him back on board.”   
 
Commenting on his appointment, Dowling said, “I couldn’t think of a better time to be in Indonesia and joining Y&R Jakarta."

He added, "Our client partners are looking to Y&R for guidance and leadership; and with Sachin Ambekar continuing to drive the creative product, I’m excited about helping lead and grow the Y&R Jakarta team for both retail and digital services.”
