Weber Shandwick adds Suntech Power to PR portfolio

SHANGHAI - Weber Shandwick has added Chinese solar company Suntech Power to its PR portfolio.

Edwin Huang, vice-president of corporate marketing, Suntech Power gave confirmation of the news. It is believed that the account was obtained in late July.

Last month, the Chinese solar panel manufacturer also tasked Y&R China to handle its creative campaign.

A spokesperson for Weber Shandwick did not return requests for comment.
