Wavemaker wins ecommerce mandate for Mondelez
Wavemaker has bagged the e-commerce mandate for Mondelez India. This adds to the agency handling its media duties since 2018.

The new directive includes building and scaling Mondelez brands and products through various ecommerce channel partners.

Anil Viswanathan Mondelez India's director of marketing for chocolates said Wavemaker as a media partner has played an integral role in making progress towards improving digitally. "Our next focus is to integrate our ecommerce media activation with the core media business and we are keen for Wavemaker to manage this combined business. We are confident that with this, we will scale our integrated marketing approach further and leverage greater synergies with a full funnel approach to media planning and deployment," he said.

Ajay Gupte, Wavemaker's South Asia CEO, said they were delighted to add on Mondelez's ecommerce mandate. “This extension of our association with Mondelez India reaffirms our focus and investment in the domain of data, analytics, tools and the right talent to drive it. Together, we see immense ecommerce opportunities to unlock moving forward and we can’t wait to begin this new partnership."
