Wavemaker China names COO

Former MEC China chief client officer Ann Lim takes on the newly created role.

Wavemaker China has named Ann Lim as COO, a newly created role, while Azhar Shah takes over her role as the managing director of Plus China, the bespoke WPP agency set up for the Chanel business.

According to a statement, Lim will support Gordon Domlija, CEO of Wavemaker Greater China, in the implementation of strategies and optimisation of operations. She joined MEC in 2010, and was also the chief client officer of MEC China prior to her new appointment. 

Azhar was previously the head of strategy for Plus for three years, and earlier spent 12 years with Kantar Millward Brown.
