UPDATE: GroupM wins Amway's China TV buying business

GUANGZHOU - Amway Artistry has awarded GroupM China Trading in Guangzhou its $200 million TV buying business.

UPDATE: GroupM wins Amway's China TV buying business
The incumbent OMD will retain Amway's media planning, OOH, print, radio and creative buying.

OMD Guangzhou has been working on the Amway Artistry account since 2005. Carat Guangzhou scooped the account in 2008 but for less than one year. The account moved back to OMD Guangzhou in May last year without a pitch.

OMD Guangzhou currently holds two of the major Amway brands, Nurtilite Vitamins and Artistry beauty and cosmetic brands.

Artistry cosmetic brands, including skincare, cosmetics and anti-aging creams and serums, are at the heart of the review. The brand accounts for about one-quarter of the company's China adspend. According to A.C. Nielsen, Amway Artistry's media spend was US$200 million in 2009.

Rapp was awarded the Amway Artistry's creative account in China in Q4 last year.
