UM China looks to strenghen media buying with new appointment

BEIJING – UM China has appointed Van Zhang as national tactical planning director, effective immediately. He will be based in Beijing.

With over ten years' experience in media and advertising, Zhang is expected to strengthen the agency's media buying team. Previously he had worked with Mindshare, Dentsu and Leo Burnett.

"I am sure that Van will help improve UM's media buying services to another level," said Lisa Wei, UM China COO. "I look forward to future cooperation with him."

Zhang said he felt honoured to join UM China, saying that he hopes to integrate media negotiations and improve services with his team.
