UBS' Tim Cobb promoted to global role

HONG KONG - Chief communications officer for UBS Asia-Pacific Tim Cobb has been promoted to the global post of head of group external communications and will be relocated to Zurich.

At present no replacement has been named and Cobb will continue to oversee the Asia-Pacific communications team until his successor has been chosen.

In this new role, Cobb will lead a team responsible for developing messaging, positioning and communications of group topics such as strategy, financial results, litigation, regulatory and corporate governance issues.

Cobb joined UBS in his current role two years ago and before that was head of group centre communications at Barclays in London.
