Tribal DDB strengthens team in Shanghai

SHANGHAI - Tribal DDB has appointed Keong Loh as digital strategist and Per Bruun as and director of operations in Shanghai.

Keong, an advertising veteran of 22 years, will focus on growing the agency's strategic division with the focus on integrating digital into the communications mix. During his career specialising in integrated marketing strategy and creative direction, he has worked at big name agencies like JWT, Leo Burnett and BBDO on accounts including AIG, American Express, Citibank, Microsoft, HBSC, Toyota and Visa.

Per joins from digital brand development agency Supernative in Sweden, which he co-founded in 2005. During his career spanning 15 years across China and Sweden, Per has work for clients including Volvo, Nike, H&M, Absolut, Red Bull, Ford and Wrigley. At Tribal DDB, he will take on an operational role overseeing the delivery of projects.

Jesse Lin, president of DDB Group Shanghai, said the appointments are a reflection of the agency's robust growth in the Mainland. "Coming off of a fantastic year for Tribal DDB Shanghai and looking ahead, I’m confident Per and Keong will help us capitalise on even more opportunities,” said Lin.
