Tribal DDB renews vows with Marriage Central in Singapore

SINGAPORE - Tribal DDB has held onto its contract with the National Family Council's Marriage Central as its agency-of-record in charge of branding and digital strategy.

The agency was reappointed following a pitch until 2012.

“Like the foundation of all strong marriages, we have been a trusted partner for Marriage Central, and at the same time been able to deliver fresh ways of reaching out to Singaporeans," said Jeff Cheong, head of Tribal and executive creative director.

Tribal DDB will be responsible for all marketing and communications duties, including online communications, promotional activities and content development. Maxus is the media agency for the account.

"Leveraging on our understanding of new and social media and the increased level of digital engagement among users, we have helped Marriage Central establish communication platforms with Singaporeans on a range of issues related to marriage preparation programmes and marriage enrichment programmes,” added Cheong.

Marriage Central falls under the National Family Council as a one-stop-shop for tying the knot and couples seeking to strengthen their relationships. The operation is funded by the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports.
