TCA is a public company in Australia for the road transport authorities of the State, Territory and Commonwealth governments.

Grey Melbourne will be in charge of TCA’s brand strategy, corporate identity, stakeholder consultation and positioning. There is no incumbent agency.

According to a company release, the pitch was called following the introduction of a new platform to accommodate telematics and intelligent transport system (ITS) applications.

Chris Koniditsiotis, CEO of TCA, said Grey will provide solutions “to help optimise the value that our brand can deliver to our many important stakeholders such as transport and logistics businesses, road authorities and safety agencies”.

Luke Waldren (pictured), managing partner of Grey Melbourne, added that the creative work is underway and the agency is expecting to release campaigns at the end of 2010 or early 2011.

Recent news for the agency include Grey Melbourne winning digital AOR for Phillippa in October.
