Telkomsel is on the search for its first digital partner. Goh Shu Fen of R3 has confirmed that they are managing the pitch but declined to give further details.

It is believed that five agencies have been shortlisted. The creative business is believed not to be affected by the pitch.

Telkomsel is the largest mobile player in terms of market share and revenue in Indonesia, and in September 2006, Telkomsel was the first operator in Indonesia to launch 3G services.

The telco ranks as one of the top five advertisers in Indonesia, and currently works with MEC, Leo Burnett, Hakuhodo and Cabe Rawit.
