Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has signed a three-year partnership with Warner Bros Discovery (WBD) to collaborate on entertaitnment and lifestyle content, and joint marketing. STB aims to inspire travel to Singapore while leveraging WBD’s content expertise and global distribution network. Both STB and WBD have signed a MoU to create new content.

Through this partnership, original localised stories will be crafted across a variety of genres such as drama serials, animation, reality-based productions, and mini documentaries. In line with this new content, both parties will work on joint marketing activations and campaigns.

The first content series from this partnership is a HBO Asia original production called ‘Food Affair with Mark Wiens’ which will feature the popular YouTuber eating his way through Singapore’s cuisine.

Clement Schwebig, president and MD, India, Southeast Asia and Korea, at WBD, said: “Spanning multiple formats and genres, these original shows will bring to life the people, culture and spirit that make Singapore unique as a destination, delivering impactful stories to local and international audiences through the WBD network.”

Prior to this MoU, STB and WBD have collaborated on international marketing for Crazy Rich Asians in 2018 and HBO’s Westworld in 2020.
