Divinita International, a maker of nutritional supplements has appointed Ren Partnership on a regional cum global assignment, says Chiu, who left his position as executive creative director at Leo Burnett to start Ren Partnership.

This month, Super Coffee Corporation, part of the publicly listed FMCG company Super Group also roped in Chiu's expertise for its regional campaign.

The maker of beverage and food products including Cafe Nova, Tea King, Owl and Super Kids first contacted Chiu in May.

"In both cases, the companies invited me to show credentials," Chiu said.

Campaign Asia-Pacific could not independentily verify details of the appointments from either Divinita International or Super Group by press time.

According to Super Group's 2011 annual report, the company uses local celebrity endorsers for its advertising campaigns. Last year, the Group launched rebranding initiatives for its Owl brand with Singapore-based television actress Jeanette Aw.

"Behind our numerous awards and accolades is a good track record built by extensive advertising and promotion," the report added.

In April, broadcast company MediaCorp put Ren Partnership in charge of its corporate image campaign as part of a year-long contract, following a closed-door pitch.

According to Saurabh Varma the regional head of strategic planning for Leo Burnett, Chiu has the ability to work closely with planners, understanding a problem and then look at a solution. "We created some of the best work together at Leo Burnett," Verma recalls.
