Under the agreement, Jones Lundin Beals, the US pioneer of the client-agency consulting sector, will change its name to R3:JLB, effective immediately. Jones Lundin Beals' CEO Dave Beals will serve as CEO of the joint venture, R3:JLB.

After establishing strong partners in Europe and Africa the combined company will foray into other regions and employ more than thirty consultants in cities such as Chicago, New York, Miami, Beijing, Singapore, Shanghai and Delhi.

Goh Shu Fen (pictured), principal and co-founder of R3, said that the new JV is driven through their existing clients who are becoming increasingly global in their mindset and marketing practices.

“We’re fortunate that we can start this new venture after securing work from Visa, Johnson & Johnson, Tiffany and others to continue to build our learning,” said Goh. “Dave and his team have been a great alliance partner with us for the last eight years, so it was time for us to finally get “married".

As part of this merger, Kim Kilchenmann has joined R3:JLB from DraftFCB Chicago, where she was global SVP, group management director on SC Johnson, Haier and Diner’s Club International.
