As reported in May, Singh (pictured) relocated to Thailand from Guangzhou, where he was media director for Asia-Pacific, to take responsibility for five key P&G markets, including Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines.

Singh joined P&G in the 1990s and has since worked in various roles across the company, including CMK (P&G's internal research department), branding for Gillette and media. He has lived and worked in China, India, the Middle East, Central Eastern Europe Middle East & Africa (CEEMEA), UK and the USA.

A source close to P&G said that Singh’s role will not be filled for the time being.

In P&G Greater China, Donna Wu, associate director and long-term P&G executive, has taken over some of Singh’s responsibilities in Greater China.
