Rutherford, who is also the chairman and global president of the International Advertising Association, and Au will also join OMP's board of directors as independent directors.

Axis Business Consulting, formed earlier this year, will be OMP’s first strategic partner.

‘Making OMP a true global digital marketing company, has always been our dream. We warmly welcome Mr Rutherford and Ms Au in joining our board. The 250-strong company currently has offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and Nangjing, and is planning to open its offices in Hong Kong and Xiamen in late 2011 or early 2012.

OMP has successfully provided digital solutions to more than 150 brands over the past eight years, including Microsoft, Skoda, HTC, Olympus, Konka, Taikang Life, Biotherm, Kanebo, and China Merchants Bank.
