OMD expands management ranks in Melbourne with promotions

MELBOURNE - OMD Melbourne has promoted Margie Reid, former head of trading, to general manager and Matt Mills, a member of the account management team, to business director and head of communications planning.

Reid has more than 13 years of experience including five years as business director at OMD working with top-tier clients such as Dulux, SCA & Bakers Delight. She was promoted to head of trading in 2011, tasked with maximising creativity and value for OMD clients. Her new promotion will add to this remit people, commercial and operational responsibilities, the agency said.

Mills, has been a member of OMD’s account management team for more than 10 years across the London & Melbourne offices, most recently heading up the Village Roadshow and RMIT accounts. He will continue to handle these clients while fostering OMD’s Planning Community and Communication & Implementation Planning product. 

Both will report to Steve Sinha, managing director of OMD Melbourne, and are effective immediately.
