Laksono has been promoted to general manager of Pulse Communications, while his previous position as client services director will be filled by Ahmad Zaki, a former account director at the agency. Meanwhile, Vishnu Mahmud has been named as client services director for Ogilvy Public Relations Indonesia.

Laksono joined Pulse Communications in 2008 and has since gained a reputation as a strong leader and strategic council to his clients.

Mahmud is one of founding team members of Pulse Communications and has experience working across diverse clients in the corporate, technology, oil and gas, banking, automotive and heavy industries.

The trio will report to Marianne Admardatine, managing director at Pulse Communications and Ogilvy Public Relations Indonesia.

Admardatine noted that the promotions are in sync with the organisation's five year plan, which includes the development of offices, people, products, clients and their businesses, as well as the role of the group in general.

“In the last few years we have had high growth, which signifies the strength of the people within the two agencies. Looking at the economy and the potential growth of Indonesia as a country, it is important that we are prepared to embrace the upcoming opportunities by identifying and creating strong skill sets necessary for our clients,” she concluded.
