SINGAPORE - Nippon Paint has appointed Icon International Communications as its public relations agency-of-record in Singapore following a closed-door pitch.

As one of the top brands in Singapore and an affiliate of Nippon Paint Japan, Nippon Paint is the city state’s leading paint manufacturer. The leading brand provides end-to-end solutions for interior and exterior products for home and buildings, as well as products for industrial applications.

Comms DNA was believed to have held the account prior. Icon will now be charged with handling media relations and will focus on Nippon Paint’s corporate branding while promoting the company’s vast collection of products.
