Citing ‘personal and personnel’ reasons, Cocks has set up Gung Ho Advertising, based in Singapore.

Communications agency The Clinic was set up just over a year ago, comprising of four senior partners, including managing partner Debra Davies, joint executive creative partners Anthony Peplow and Nick Cocks, and strategic director Melissa Tuffley.

Tuffley said that Cocks had resigned to pursue other opportunities. "We wish him all the best in his new direction. It is business as usual at The Clinic."

In January 2011 it was awarded the Singapore Arts Festival business, having previously picked up the creative brief for Amway’s Nutrilite.

Cocks, formerly group creative head at TBWA Tequila, recently stimulated substantial debate amongst the region’s advertising community with an opinion piece for Campaign about Singapore advertising.
