Newgate Communications enters Korea via Access Communications

HONG KONG - Newgate Communications has signed an affiliation agreement with Access Communications of Seoul as it expands quickly in the region.

Newgate opened its Hong Kong office in January and says it will establish operations in Beijing and Singapore in coming months. The company also has offices in London, Edinburgh, Brussels and Frankfurt.

“Our affiliation with the team at Access is an important development in our ability to serve our clients across a growing global footprint," said Richard Barton, managing partner of Newgate Hong Kong. "We have known Access’ leadership team of S.S. Lee, Carol Park and Jinsoo Kim, for almost 10 years and have worked together on some extremely rewarding client mandates.”

Newgate, a subsidiary of Porta Communications, specialises in capital market communications and financial media relations, corporate reputation building and public policy and regulatory consultancy. Access Communications, established in 1995, lists its core competencies as strategy consulting, media relations and crisis management.
