Ministry of Manpower appoints DDB Singapore for marketing brief

SINGAPORE - The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) is believed to have appointed DDB as its creative agency to market Singapore's workforce to the international business community.

Ministry of Manpower appoints DDB Singapore for marketing brief
The appointment follows a two-stage evaluation process after a tender was first issued in September.

According to information on the tender site, the MOM will be working in tandem with the Economic Development Board (EDB) which is undertaking a marketing campaign to position Singapore as an ideal business hub for international markets.

The two Government agencies will collaborate on an integrated marketing campaign to position the city’s workforce to the same target audiences.

The expected duration of the campaign is two years, with an option to extend for an additional 12 months. OMD and Fleishman Hillard are set to take on the media and public relations components of the campaign respectively.

DDB Singapore could not be reached for comment on the development.
