The win also includes key products under Cerebos' brand label, including Bird's Nest, Ying Kao, herbal range and the newly launched InnerShine Berry Essence in China.

Hoong Cheong Hon, chief operating officer of Cerebos China, said: “Brand's was looking for an agency that matches Cerebos' current and future business development. The agency’s creativity, value and proposed winning platforms certainly are the reason for Cerebos' selection.”

Chris Jaques, CEO of M&C Saatchi Asia, said: “Cerebos is one of the great brands of Asia, and they have always been one of the best client partners any agency could ever want to work with. I’m thrilled that we have this chance to build their brand and their business in China.”

Cerebos operates in countries including Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, Australia and New Zealand and has been in China since 1992.

In August, Universal McCann was awarded the Cerebos media account in Malaysia without a pitch.
