The account covers media planning and buying for both digital and traditional media. ZenithOptimedia Guangzhou was the incumbent agency for this account.

Maxus won the contract after a competitive pitch against two other 4A media agencies. This is the first time Enesis China has launched a major marketing campaign for the Sensa Cool brand, due to formally launch in China this year.

The client has opted for an eco-friendly marketing platform for its upcoming campaigns in the Mainland. The first Sensa Cool TVC airs today in South China including key TV channels in Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Dongguan.

Li added that the TVC will expand to other parts of China depending on the market response.

“The herbal tea market in China, especially in Guangdong, is very competitive," said Stephanie Li, managing director of Maxus Guangzhou. "To grow fast in this market, a new brand needs to know the local market and consumer very well. We have a strong media intelligence in the local beverage market in order to do this."

Enesis Group was founded in 1988 in Indonesia. The company started its business producing a mosquito lotion, which has become the biggest mosquito repellent in the the US. The product's success led the company to expand its business to the healthy beverage sector in 1996 with the launch of Sensa Cool - an herbal supplementary powder drink that improves the digestive system.
