Huang, who was appointed corporate marketing director of LG Electronics Asia in 2008, will now manage all business matters relating to the company’s sales and distribution growth, marketing, and operations in Singapore.

He reports directly to Jeff Cheh, MD and CEO of LG Electronics Malaysia and Singapore.

“Singapore is an important but challenging market for LG Electronics in many ways as we are serving one of the most sophisticated consumers in the region who are trendsetters in lifestyle, technology and other areas. I look forward to Arthur’s leadership in helping me build better local partnerships, create greater operational synergies and spearhead effective sales and marketing campaigns,” said Cheh.

“With the new assignment, I look forward to working closely with my colleagues at LG, as well as industry partners and allies, not only to help move the LG Electronics brand in Singapore to the next level, but also to stir it to further growth,” added Huang.

“We’ll be looking at further strengthening our retail and channel partnerships to help us bring our products closer to our consumers, provide them an overall consumer experience, and create a closer relationship with them.”
