Leo Burnett Korea and Beacon Communications Japan win Chrysler's creative account

SINGAPORE - Beacon Communications in Japan and Leo Burnett Korea have been appointed as the creative agencies for Chrysler in both markets following respective local pitches.

Leo Burnett Korea and Beacon Communications Japan win Chrysler's creative account
The news follows Leo Burnett Melbourne's win of the Chrysler account in Australia earlier this month.

Both Beacon and Leo Burnett Korea will be responsible for managing Chrysler’s three key brands, Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge, in their local markets.

The three Leo Burnett offices will start work on the Chrysler account on 1 February.

It is believed that McCann and local agency SKMC were also involved in the Korean pitch.

Nicolas Menat, president of Beacon Communications said: “Selling foreign cars in Japan is a challenge. Only brands with a clear strategic direction can make inroads into market. Our mission is to partner with the Chrysler team and further enhance their brand positioning to boost business growth.”

Earlier this month, Saatchi & Saatchi Shanghai scooped the creative advertising accounts for Chrysler and Dodge SUV in China following a five-way pitch that also included Leo Burnett and Lintas.
