With more than ten years of agency experience, she will be responsible for servicing the client across Asia Pacific for Johnson & Johnson Baby, Stayfree and Nicorette.

This move enables Sumanga (pictured) to build on an already well-established relationship with the brand, having previously worked with them for several years, first at McCann Erickson and then at BBDO, when the marketer realigned creative agency in 2007.

Commenting on her return, Sumanga said, “I’ve always had a big heart for Johnson and Johnson and I have come back with a clear mission – to push the boundaries and find new opportunities for the brand, to meaningfully engage with consumers beyond traditional forms of media and to produce innovative, integrated campaigns.”

Sumanga left the agency last year to work for MEC within their branded entertainment division, managing projects for clients like Coca Cola vitaminwater, Barclays and Sony Walkman.

She began her advertising career at Ace/Saatchi and Saatchi in the Philippines before moving to Singapore to work with McCann Erickson in 2005, and subsequently to BBDO in 2007.
