JWT Pakistan promotes Samia Ahmed to general manager

KARACHI - JWT has promoted Samia Ahmed (pictured) to general manger of its Karachi office.

Ahmed joined JWT over ten years ago as an account management trainee and rose to become account manager, working on Unilever brands including Lipton, Supreme, LUX, Sunsilk and Close–up.

In her new role, she will oversee the management and growth of the firm’s existing client relationships as well as increase new business opportunities.

Ahmed will report directly to the agency’s CEO, Mansoor Karim Shaikh, who said: “We are committed to bringing JWT Pakistan to the next level and raising our profile in the region.”

He added: “With Samia, we have a seasoned marketer with a strong client services background who will lead the office in enhancing its offerings and delivering best-in-class client services.”
